I hope dad gets a job soon..he's been jobless for about a year an a half..things used to be bad..now it's just terrible..actually it's fine..we still can afford to live comfortably..not luxuriously..but tat's fine by me..but apparently mom doesn't tink so..the way she snaps at him n puts him down really upsets me..I mean..does she really have to be so nasty n sarcastic?
I feel so sorry for her..it must be very saddening to be such an unhappy n uncontented person..
I tink my mom's not bad looking..in fact she looks youthful..her smile's nice..but I've nv seen her smile for ages..nv heard her say anything nice for months..everytime she opens her mouth..she sounds like..a poisonous viper..pure hate n venom
I try not to get affected..but on some days I just cannot take it..she just can't talk nicely..it's always a shout..whenever I tell her ASKING instead of DEMANDING is more effective..she snaps "DON'T SAY I'M SHOUTING OK! I'M TALKING!" at the top of her voice..talking indeed..zzz..
earlier on she was screaming for my dad to do smth for her when he was washing the dishes..called once..he didn't answer cos he couldn't hear..too far away..she screamed louder..damn bitch can't wait a few secs..dad came RUNNING..she repeated herself..he didn't catch wad she said so he asked her to say it again..

I'm backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!Phuket was helluva fantasticcccccccc! =D I enjoyed myself immensely!
just got back around 12..tired but I wanna blog first! but pics are still with the bf so I'll post them up later when he feels happy enough to send them to me..aha
Day 1 - 20th Sept
I couldn't sleep AT ALL..started getting ready at 4..bf came over to my place at 5 am to pick me up..he came with an almost empty bag..enough essentials just to last ONE day..I packed enough for the both of us..I tink I had enough clothes to last me for an entire week
we had breakfast at Delifrance..den we checked in..blah blah..I was worried la =/ 2 years since I last went overseas..our flight was at 7..1 hour 45 min flight..reached there at 7.45 local time..thank goodness we were allowed to check in early! initial check in time was 2 I tink..can't imagine walking around with our luggage..we stayed at Deevana Patong Resort & Spa..the resort was so nice! like 100 times better than the resorts here..tsk tsk..the room was BIG..toilet also BIG..great service n everything..whoo! tat's the best thing about Thai..they are so polite they made me feel so happy! I was happily smiling away at them too aha..
while walking to our rooms I saw an ang moh tanning topless lorh! I couldn't control my loud mouth n I just shouted.."OMG!!! NAKED! NAKED!! OMG!!!" oops n double oops..
after looking in at our rooms we got a lil hungry..so we decided to get some food..the strange part is..the ppl there dun seem to eat one lei! most of the restaurants were empty..we felt a bit weird going in! so our first meal there..was.........Subway..3rd time eating tat..aha..ate until v unglam cos nobody knows me there anyway ma!
did my nails there too! 1st time =/ omg I'm so suaku!
went shopping after tat..man there were so many stalls..just like Bugis Street..we walked for HOURS n HOURS..my feet were burning after tat..we decided to walk over to Patong Beach to take a look..1st day there so we were like noobs..walking around hunting..MY GOD..the sun ther is SO HOT bf got a tan just from walking..he had his singlet imprinted onto his back so funny..n we kept getting hungry along the way..no idea why also..I bought so many cheesy sausages lorh..nice! n coke nv tasted to good man..HEE..
had dinner at some restaurant..wah they are so intimidating..cos the whole stretch is just food n more food..so when we walked past..everyone just swarmed up.."take a look at our menu!".."I give u good price sir".."come inside!"..like at least 10 of them surrounded us repeating tat..we ordered Thai style Omelette with Crabmeat..Green Curry Chicken n Mixed Vegetables with Seafood..
YUMMY N CHEAP..their food was really soooooooooo delicious..n it was the best green curry I've ever tasted! not too thick until it's scary if u know wad I mean..n their servings is really huge..
our feet were really gone after tat..plus I my hips n my back were aching from all the walking..we went for a foot massage..
SHIOKNESS!
but I giggled n screamed throughout the thing I had to cover my mouth to stifle my laughter..so ticklish lah!!!! my bf was pretending not to know me n I was providing entertainment to the workers there..was trying v hard to control my reflex actions..haha..wanted to kick them =/ but super nice la the massage! lasted an hour..I nv knew there was so much to a foot massage..very rejuvenated after tat..XD
Day 2 - 21st Sept
bf complained tat his arm was aching cos I slept on it the whole night..heh..
hotel buffet breakfast! I.ate.sausages.again. muaha dunno wad's wrong with me..went Central for shopping! more of window shopping cos the stuff there is about the same price or even more expensive than here!
we went to Phuket Zoo after tat! I haven't been to a zoo for YEARS! I haven't even been to the Night Safari b4 lorh..
actually their zoo isn't really well kept..quite dirty n stuff la..but their animal shows are better I tink..went to watch the monkeys..crocodiles n elephants..dunno why the monkeys have such red rear ends ar! so ugly! n I was saying tat I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to believe tat humans evolved from such....primates..EEEEEEEEEEEEE..NO WAY was my great great great GREATS an ape or orang utan of any sort..! n the crocs were just..scary..I like to watch! normally I tot phototaking for such stuff..no flash allowed but there isn't such a rule there..was quite worried for the keeper! n the elephants were so cuteeeeeeeee..walking in a line holding one another's tails..HEE..there was tis elephant tat kept swaying its head n sort of dancing on its own..CUTE! some of them did paintings.."paintings" la huh they just held the brush n swipe left to right right to left n some ang mohs actually bought them! man so much $$$ ah they have..
there was also tis phototaking with the tiger..n the tiger was HUGE! just sitting on the table..n it's not those tiger cubs or anything..it was a full grown tiger..letting out the occasional GROWLS..n they didn't even close its mouth or anything lorh..it was just..THERE..OMG! best part was..the person-in-charge only had ONE ARM..like..ERRRRRRRRRRRR..will u take a picture with the tiger if the keeper only has an arm?!?!?! I mean..cannot blame me ma..sure tink funny maaaaa right? my bf n I were seriously standing there n going..ERRRRRRRRRRRRRR....................okayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.......
n after tat I just started losing my voice gradually..lol..again..yes..
went back to Patong after tat n had Dinner at Da Mario's..BEST PASTA I've EVER eaten! I had some Ravioli with dunno wad sauce..n each one was stuffed with meat..heavenly! bf had some funny sounding pasta n he also said tat it's the best he's eaten lorh..only cost half the price of wad it would have cost in Singapore..tsk..Pastamania..is........................................nvm I dun wanna get sued..
shopped again after tat..neverending man the stalls..n after the sun set..around 6..their nightlife starts livening up..very nice! all the pubs n bars n everything..the street lights..pretty! some roads are closed at night becos of all these nightlife..those cabaret shows will have their employees dress up as interesting characters distributing leaflets n taking pictures on the streets..etc..saw many ladyboys dressed up in costumes..they let the ang moh squeeze their boobs for phototaking! there were sexy shows as well..but we didn't go la..those ang mohs were asking if there were any nude ones..ahaha..we went to some A-Go-Go bar..the sign outside made me feel funny.."COUPLES WELCOME"..like HUH?! went in n I saw a naked woman!!! n a ping pong ball..use ur imagination -_- they were wearing lingerie n pole dancing! n every few mins they had some special show..WALAO DISGUSTING..but interesting la..there were basically 2 of them performing la..their..er....KIAP KIAP..for the sake of sensibilities I shall use tat word..borrowed from Jasmine..n ya..one of them was fat@@ kinda gross if u tink about seeing a naked fat woman with jelly belly..but NVM..she could keep all kinda stuff in there la! YUCK MAN! at some point of time I screamed..she kept like a few metres of rope inside..with HOOKS..omg omg..insides of STEEL..n FISH..URGHHHHHHHHHHHHH..she placed a glass of water below her n....ya..3 disgusting long tailed fish dropped out..n they were swimming..oh my GAWD! n a cute lil white bird as well! if I were the bird I'd pray for death really..imagine being inside a kiap kiap OMG! fat one somemore..dunno wad it did to deserve such a life..n the other woman had a FROG inside..holy...................n all kinds of stuff..like sucking up water n dunno how some brown colour liquid comes out..she filled a coke bottle with tat stuff..O_O
after we left we decided to grab some food since we had an early dinner..bought food from roadside stalls..sausages again..n some chicken..delicious!!! their food is super tasty..beats our pasar malams hands down..ooh such flavourrrrrrrrrr..n v succulent..I love the pineapple there..very sweet!
Day 3 - 22nd Sept
seriously overspent the past few days! bf decided to convince me to let him rent a bike n fetch us around..I was dubious/doubful/skeptical since I've nv ever been on one b4..n more imptly..bf does not have a bike license!!! lol..though he was telling me about previous bike riding experiences back here which he's nv mentioned b4 until then =PpP pls la..I've nv even see him play those Daytona b4 kua kua..but cos it seemed fun..n a cheaper way of getting around..we got a bike for 150 baht..for 24 hours! so armed with tat....noisy machine -_- ..a map of Phuket..3 litres of petrol..n his trusty sunglasses..he took us joyriding all over the countryside..which I must admit..was fun..HAHA..his skills were really remarkable la huh..I gotta give him tat..but it was his tarzan worthy warcry-like shrieks n howls of victory tat left me worried..everytime he sped up or coasted along a long stretch of road..

yeah tat's wad happened..haha..enjoyable to feel the breeze actually..it was really an experience! cos everyone there does tat..heh..so he brought us to Kata Beach n Karon Beach..PICTURESQUE! the sea was sparkling like jewels..azure sea n cndyfloss clouds! the sand felt like powder beneath our feet..the waves were beautiful..everything was..straight out of a picturebook..so magical! it looked like one end of the world..cos we couldn't see the boundaries on the other side of the sea..just..an endless majestic sea..I tink I sound like a travel brochure here..but I'm not really doing its beauty justice..suntanned a while before playing with the water a bit n exploring the area.. =D saw tiny lil crabs tat ran v fast! n there was tis dog just took a liking to me n just followed me..got me a lil worried..when I walked in circles it followed me as well..until one of the locals tempted it away with food..haha..so cute..
had lunch nearby the beach..even their nuggets also taste better than ours..WHY AR?

went back to our resort..had a dip in the pool..140 cm..I was gasping for air.... =P showered b4 heading out again..
had dinner at some roadside stall..noodles..for $2..wow..I can eat tat everyday man..so aromatic! I wonder wad kinda spices they put into it..YUMMYLICIOUS!
one of my hare-brained ideas..against my common sense n my better judgement..I did hair BEADING..cos the beads were just so pretty..bf was wonderful..he waited around 2 hours for me..but after tat..I just tink I looked weird..no idea why also cos the ang mohs look nice in it..maybe it's my head shape or smth..or maybe my hair is thin..I LOOKED LIKE A COURT JESTER! n I was seriously worried about my hair being very damaged..cos the braids are really very compact..I felt so..naked with my hair lidat..so conscious..I bought a cap to cover it up..aha..mad..
bought streetside food again..addictive..just for $5..we can buy enough food to stuff ourselves silly..I miss the food there so much!
Day 4 - 23rd Sept
supposed to check out at 12..but our flight was at 8.30 we didn't wanna wander around like homeless ppl so bf paid some to extend our checkout time till 5..which gave him..lol..some time to joyride around in the bike again..went to visit some temple..
went back..while bf was napping..I decided I had enough of the braids..@@ cos it was hurting my sunburnt scalp..plus I keep worrying n worrying how my hair will look like if I kept it there for a few more days..
OH MAN..I spent more than an HOUR tugging n tugging on them..there were SO MANY..n so intricately tied..they dun even use rubber bands to hold it in place..n they wont drop..goodness gracious..I had to wet my hair n take them out ONE BY ONE..n after tat my hair looked as if someone took a curling iron to it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was damn frightened lei! with all tat half wet half dry half curly hair I looked like a drowning poodle..I spent sooooooo long inside the toilet..until my bf helped me get the things undone..LUCKILY..managed to wash out..
shared some cup noodles..yoghurt..n cheese sausages..I've eaten about 15 of those things in these few days..b4 checking out..
got a taxi from the person who rented us the bike..visited a few more temples to pray for blessings b4 heading to the airport..
we saw Dunkin Donuts! nv eat =/ OOPS!
wanted to have BK for dinner but dunno why it's so expensive over there
so we settled for Chester's Grill..some Chicken Karaage etc since there's no food onboard!
n now I'm sitting in front of my comp blogging when I'm supposed to be sleeping..but I just wanna get tis stuff all out b4 I forget!
I really had fun these few days n I'm gonna miss tat place! FUN FUN FUN! n it's so relaxing there..like..there's not a care in the world..just lie back n really..RELAX
but it feels good to be back in my own room as well hee..n u know..nth beats slping in ur own bed..except of cos..not having to say goodbye to my bf..but instead..goodnight..
